Shri N.A.Ramachandra Raja, Founder

During the year 1964, our founder Sriman. N.A. Ramachandra Raja established this school namely, N.A.Annappa Raja Memorial High School in the rural place called Avaramoatti under N.A. Ramachandra Raja Charity Trust. Initially with 11 teachers and 177 students a temporary thatched roof building. Later int he year 1978 it was upgraded to Higher Secondary. Now the school has grown and has 49 teachers with 1500 students.

Our founder saw opportunity for those with technical skills with a growing number of industries in and around Rajapalayam. With the intention of empowering women and bringing them on par in the technical sector, the institute began exclusively for women. Infect, it was the first self-financing Polytechnic College in Tamilnadu for women. With just two courses initially, we now have grown with more offerings for students and to meet the demand for technical education in the region we have opened doors for men as well in recent years.
